Chang briefed his Russian guest on related information of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) held from Oct. 24 to 27, 2016.

Adm. Korolyov said that deepening Russia-China comprehensive strategic partnership is conducive to maintaining peace and stability in Eurasia and the world at large.

At present, the Chinese and Russian militaries, especially the two navies, are enjoying increasingly closer relations and broader areas of cooperation, Korolyov said, adding that the Russian side is willing to work with the Chinese side to further enhance the pragmatic cooperation between the two militaries.

Korolyov expressed congratulations on the success of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee.
